Godzilla: King of the Monsters doesn’t hit theaters until March 31st, but we have already had a decent chunk of trailers and teasers for the sequel movie. This latest TV spot whilst short, does give us a glimpse of a Titan that fans cannot quite place. It looks initially like a spider or crabs legs bursting out of the ground. We can say for certainty that this creature is neither Rodan nor King Ghidorah as we have seen both of those Titan’s in better shots already.

Is it possible this is another Titan that hasn’t yet been revealed as some outlets have been predicting? Well, no, for my own part I don’t think so. I would guess that these are simply the legs of Mothra we see here and it looks different by the fact we cannot see the rest of the creature. I could be wrong, but I can only call things the way I see them.

I had my issues with Godzilla, frankly, there was too much of the humans and not enough of the monsters. If we go by the trailers we have seen so far, then I’ll predict that criticism is being addressed majorly in this movie and I hope that’s true. I really hope Godzilla: King of the Monsters is a good enough movie to make a profit and ensure this MonsterVerse carries on for a few more movies. The potential is there, we just need to see that potential realized in a way that Godzilla failed to do. Kong: Skull Island seemed to fair better amongst audiences, but I guess as a fan I am far more interested in the Godzilla than I am Kong as a monster.
